Making Acai Bowls

As its name implies, it is jam packed with Acai berries, which have been dubbed as a super food. Acai is known to have high amounts of antioxidants. The bowls often contain other fruit and sometimes greens. While these healthy ingredients have many health benefits, they also contain a large quantity of sugar

Easy Acai Bowl Shopping List and Recipe:

BUY:  
One cup of blackberries
One cup of raspberries
1/2 cup of blueberries 
1 banana
1 frozen packet of frozen Acai 
4 oz of soy milk

Toppings you need to buy:
Granola 
Fresh cut strawberries 
Coconut
Fresh blueberries
Fresh Bananas
A sprinkle of chia seeds
Honey

Steps:
1. Blend together the one cup of blueberries, blackberries and raspberries
2. Add the 4 oz of soy milk and 1 frozen packet of Acai base to the blender
3.Pour the base into the bowl after blending very well
4. Place about a thick layer of granola on top of the base in the bowl   
5. Add the fresh cut strawberries banana and blueberries
6. Then sprinkle some coconut and chia seeds on top of the fruit
7. Add a thick layer of honey
